Why do so many homes here hit plumbing trouble around the same age?
Most of the suburb was built in one rush, so shortcut fittings and original hot water units from the 2000s estate wave are now failing street by street together.
Do you handle stormwater and drainage on sloping blocks?
Yes. Lots here fall east toward Wallis Creek on long downhill runs, and clearing blocked stormwater, sewers and silted drains in those low sections is routine work for us.
What happens if the road in or out is flooded when I call?
Cessnock Road at Testers Hollow goes under in major rain events. We will tell you honestly when you ring whether we can get through, and prioritise anything urgent.
Do you give the price before starting the work?
Always. The price is agreed before any work starts, and if something unexpected turns up mid-job, we stop and talk it through with you before going a step further.

Step three is where the suburb knowledge matters. A job on a lot that falls east toward the creek gets checked differently to one up on the ridgeline, because the drainage loads are not the same.
A quick word on the suburb itself
Twenty years ago this was the old East Greta mining village. The Wallis Creek master-planned estate turned it into streets of new brick-veneer homes, and the plumbing still tells that story.
Volume-built homes from the boom can hide rushed fittings. Units installed in the same year are reaching the end of their working life together, and the low eastern streets cop the stormwater first when the Hunter's summer storms land.
